For achieving the stated mission of the College, the goals are:
1. To provide quality education in different disciplines of agriculture,
2. To undertake basic, applied and adaptive research, and to develop appropriate agricultural production and protection technologies relevant to the agroclimatic and socio-economic conditions in Punjab,
3. To provide direct and indirect educational and technological support to the farmers of Punjab in particular, and to the public in general, for improving agricultural productivity and economic well-being of the rural population,
4. To develop commercial potential of the agricultural sector in the region by facilitating and supporting the growth of subsidiary occupations, agro-based industries and related service sector.
