Subject: Filling up the post of Assistant Director (Publication) against the vacant post of Deputy Director (Publication) on contractual basis for six months.
One post of Assistant Director (Publication) against the vacant post of Dy. Director (Publication) provided in the scheme, ‘ Strengthening of Communication Centre Plan-35’ at a fixed salary of
Rs. 20,000/- per month is to be filled up by this Centre. The post will be filled up for a period of six months in the Ist instance which can be extended from time to time based on his/her performance. The qualifications prescribed for the post are as under:-

Graduate atleast with second Division.

Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication or Master’s degree in English with P.G Diploma in Agril. Journalism and Mass Communication.

Experience in editing work for newspapers, magazines, bulletins and other publications.

Punjabi up to Matric level.
The desirous candidates fulfilling the qualifications/ experience may obtain the prescribed application form from the % Addl. Director of Communication, Room No. 11 of Business Section, CC&IL, PAU on payment of Rs. 300/- in cash. The prescribed application form with prescribed application fees of Rs. 500/- in the shape of bank draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana should reach in the % the undersigned CC&IL, PAU by 01. 9. 2010. They should appear before the Selection Committee for the interview on 27.9.2010 at 11.00 a.m in the office room of the Registrar, PAU. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview. The inservice candidates may apply through proper channel.
Applications, which are incomplete /not on the prescribed form/ received after the due date/ received without prescribed application fee shall not be considered. The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. The services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
