  1. Developing Chickpea Cultivars Suited to Mechanical Harvesting and Tolerant to Herbicides as Co-PI (2013-2017) (NFSM/DAC, New Delhi)
  2. Integrated Pest Management for Popularization of Chickpea in Rice–Wheat Cropping System, as Co-PI (2003-2004) (DST funded).
  3. Improving Income and Nutrition by Incorporating Mungbean in Cereal Fallows in the Indo-Gangetic Plains of South Asia, as Collaborator (2002-04) (DFID-AVRDC funded).
  4. Popularization of Extra Short-Duration Mungbean Cultivars for Poverty Alleviation and Improved Nutrition in Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, India based on Punjab Model, as Collaborator (2005-09) (AVRDC).
  5. Physiological and Molecular Characterization of Salinity Tolerance in Chickpea, as Co-PI (2007-2009) (COGGO, Australia and ICRISAT)
  6. Popularization of Summer Moong and Gram for Crop Diversification in Punjab, as Co-PI (2008-2010) (Sir Rattan Tata Trust)
