Dr Ramandeep Singh, Director, School of Business Studies, PAU, Ludhiana. He joined PAU in January 1995 as an Assistant Professor and has been actively involved in Teaching, Extension, and Research activities related to marketing management, Agri-business Management, Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management. He has done B.Sc. (Forestry) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana MBA from Punjabi University, Patiala and Ph.D.(Business Administration) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He is working as Professor, Business Management, since January 2011.

Dr. Ramandeep Singh taught 36 different courses titled Comparative management, Marketing strategy, Retail and wholesale management, Agri-business management, Project management and Entrepreneurship development, Marketing management, Rural marketing, management of Food Processing Industries, Retail and Supply Chain Management etc. He has supervised 75 MBA/MBA (AB) and 6 Ph.D. students. Apart from this, he is an advisory committee member of students in collaborating departments and also, served as Dean PGS Nominee at college level and department level.

Dr. Ramandeep Singh has published 50 research papers, review papers, conference papers and research reports in reputed international and national journals, 4 bulletins, 9 chapters in training manuals, 8 book chapters, and 50 extension articles. In addition, he has given 30 TV talks, 25 short promotional videos and 20 radio talks. He has also served as a resource person and delivered over 500 lectures to various groups, including field functionaries, rural youth, farm women, progressive farmers, agripreneurs, policy makers, and administrators. He has served as a technical coordinator/coordinator of Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDPs), since 1995.

He is having very good connect with progressive farmers, rural youth, farm women and agripreneurs of Punjab and promoting entrepreneurship through product and market development. Handling social media through 15 WhatsApp commodity groups, 8 Facebook pages/groups and YouTube channel for disseminating PAU technologies along with handholding of start-ups.

His extension linkages are very strong as a representative of School of Business Studies, PAU. He developed linkages with Markfed, Punjab-Agro, CII, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, FAPRO, KAFRO, CIPHET, PHPHTC, PABI, PAMETI, Citrus Estate, Litchi Estate, Honorary member Young Innovative Farmers, Social Media Groups, Apni Kheti Mobile App, Cane Farms, LMA etc.

Being a former sportsman and recipient of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) Color, PAU Roll of Honour and University Color for proficiency in sports (All India Inter University Champion and National Champion Handball), Dr Ramandeep Singh is involved in organising sports activities at PAU as President, Sports Committee, COBSH, President PAU handball committee and Punjab Handball Association.

His administrative experience as Deputy Director (sports), Deputy Director (Public relations and International linkages), Officer on Special Duty for promoting Agribusiness, Warden (University guest houses), Warden (International student hostel) and In-charge (KKG) for time to time during his PAU service.
