ADMISSION NOTICE FOR B.TECH (AGRIL. ENGG.) 4 YEAR PRAGRAMME ON THE BASIS OF MARKS OBTAINED IN 10+2 (WITH PCM).

Some seats of B.Tech. (Agril. Engg.) 4-year programme for the academic session, 2022-23 are lying vacant. The candidates who are the residents of Punjab and Union Territory of Chandigarh are eligible to seek admission. Admission shall be made strictly according to marks obtained in 10+2 (with PCM). (except for sports quota and wards of armed forces candidates).

Eligibility: 10+2 non-medical group (PCM) or equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate.

For SC/ST candidates

The condition of 50% marks will not be applicable to SC/ST candidates provided that the lower percentage prescribed does not fall below the minimum requirement for passing the qualifying examination.

For all other reserved category

5% marks reduced belonging to all other reserved categories and 10% marks for Kashmiri Migrants)

Fee: Rs.99,000/-(Approx.) for 1st semester for B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering). The fee shall be deposited on the spot through a single mode either online or cash otherwise their candidature will not be considered.

• Candidates should bring original certificates/testimonials, two sets of photocopies of the following documents (duly self attested):-
  1. White application form duly filled in (available on PAU website).
  2. Matriculation Certificate
  3. Residence Certificate (As per PAU Prospectus, 2022-23)
  4. Reservation Certificate (if any) (As per PAU Prospectus, 2022-23)
  5. Detail marks certificate of 10+2
  6. Character Certificate (issued by the Principal of the school last attended)
  7. Two passport size photographs.
  8. Income certificate for SC/ST candidates (as per PAU Prospectus)
• Reserve category candidates whose rank falls under general category shall also be eligible for general category seat.
• Candidates seeking admission under Sports quota must report for sports trial in the office of Director Students’ Welfare, PAU, Ludhiana on 12.10.2022 at 9:30 a.m. and should bring the original sports certificates along with photographs to establish their claim to sports quota failing which the candidate will not be considered under Sports Quota.
• In case the seats are exhausted before all the candidates called for counselling are covered, the counselling will be stopped and the university will not be responsible for the non-availability of seats to rest of the candidates on this account.
• The reporting time for the candidates will be 30 minutes before the specified time of counselling. In case of late reporting by the candidate for counselling due to any reason, he/she will lose claim of admission due at his/her rank. However, such candidate may be considered for admission against left out seats at the time of reporting. No claim or compensation for problems (if any) encountered or cost incurred in attending the counselling will be entertained by the University.
• The counseling will be held by following strict social distance protocols and the candidates and their guardian must come with a face mask on and bring hand gloves, small hand sanitizer, drinking water bottle and ball point pen. No candidate will be allowed to enter the venue without face mask/sanitizer.
• No separate call letters through post, email/SMS/information will be sent.
