NOTICE
Wheat and barley straw obtained after harvesting and threshing of experiments from 99 acres area in B- block, E-Block , A-block (near CIPHET), Near Gate No 4 and 6 is lying in the experimental area of Wheat Section of Dept. of Plant Breeding & Genetics, PAU, Ludhiana. This is surplus to our requirement and is to be disposed off through open public auction on “as is where is” basis as per details given below.
The auction will be held on 09.05.2024 at 12:00 noon in B block experimental area of Dept. of Plant Breeding & Genetics, PAU, Ludhiana. All are invited to participate in the auction. The straw shall be sold to the highest bidder.
Terms & Conditions
- The committee reserves to dispose off the straw either in single consolidated auction or in small lots with an aim to clear the fields at the earliest possible so that the following Kharif crop experiments could be sown well in time.
- The highest bidder shall have to deposit at least 25% of sale proceeds at the fall of the hammer and the balance payment on the next working day.
- He will have to lift the straw and vacate the fields within 10 days from the date of auction.
