PAU's COAE&T HOSTS PTM FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (COAE&T), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organized a highly productive Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) at Jacob Hall of the college to strengthen the connection between educators and parents. The meeting was specifically tailored for the first year students enrolled in the B. Tech. programme in Agricultural Engineering.

Dr Manjeet Singh, Dean of COAE&T, shared his vision for academic excellence. His words resonated with attendees, highlighting the college's commitment to holistic student development.

Dr Ashwani Kumar Soni, Chairman of the Academic Affairs Committee at COAE&T, provided valuable insights into college policies and ongoing initiatives. His discourse offered parents a deeper understanding of the academic environment and the various opportunities available to students.

Dr Satish Kumar Gupta, Professor, initiated the event by introducing the members of the Parent-Teacher Committee. The collective presence highlighted a collaborative effort to enhance student welfare and academic standards, he observed.

Dr Satish Kumar Gupta, Incharge, Training and Placement, enlightened the audience on career prospects and industry collaborations, underlining the college's efforts to equip students with practical skills and professional opportunities.

Dr Samanpreet Kaur, Class Incharge for first year students, in her welcome address, outlined the meeting's agenda and stressed the importance of positive communication and active participation.

Finally, Dr RS Gill, College-level convener of the Parent-Teacher Committee, proposed a vote of thanks.

The interactive sessions among parents, advisors, and course instructors of first year students were the highlight of the PTM. These sessions provided a platform for personalized discussions, addressing concerns, and devising individualized learning pathways for students. Parents expressed appreciation for the institute and the department's efforts towards ensuring their wards' bright future.
