Celebrating creativity and imagination, the Directorate of Students’ Welfare of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), hosted a dynamic event titled ‘Showcase Your Talent’ that brought together students, faculty, and enthusiasts of the arts. The occasion presented an opportunity to the students of PAU to participate in the events of "Creative Writing” and “Doodling.” It offered a platform for participants to unleash their creativity through the written word and visual expression.

The event, organized by the University's PAU Magazine Editorial Board under the stewardship of Directorate of Students’ Welfare, drew a diverse crowd eager to explore the intersection of writing and doodling as mediums for self-expression. One of the highlights of the event was the doodling contest which was held for the first time in the portals of the University. Doodling enthusiasts gathered to demonstrate their artistic flair on paper. From intricate patterns to whimsical illustrations, each doodle was a testament to the boundless creativity of the participants. This event marked the commencement of the league of events to be organized by the Directorate of Students’ Welfare. It will be followed by an interesting competition of “Posting Reels” and “Meme Contest” on May 15, 2024.

The insightful programme was well-conducted by Dr Deepika Vig, Editor-in-Chief of PAU Magazine, along with Associate Editor Dr Sumedha Bhandari, Associate Professor and the faculty editors, namely Dr Seema Garcha, Microbiologist; Dr Ashoo Toor, Assistant Professor; Dr Jagwinder Jodha, Editor Punjabi; Dr Sukhbir Singh, Assistant Director, Physical Education; Dr Preeti Sharma, Assistant Professor; Dr Rashmi Upreti, Assistant Professor; and Mr Satvir Singh, Supervisor, Cultural Activities.
