NOTICE

Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow (Contractual) at KVK, Budh Singh Wala, Moga at a fixed salary of Rs.25,000/- p.m. + HRA provided under the scheme entitled "Creating Innovation Clusters Based on Regionally Adapted Cutting Edge Technologies in Aspirational District Moga of Punjab, CSS-66 (PC-6291)”.

Essential Qualifications:

1. B.Sc. (Agri.)/ B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.)/ B.Sc. (Horticulture)/B.Sc. (Forestry) with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60 % marks.
2. M.Sc. in the discipline of Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Extension Education/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.
3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized board (as first or second language).

Note: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree’s in the relevant subject i.e. Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Extension Education/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology but possess Ph.D. in any of these subjects shall be eligible for the post.

The desirous candidates fulfilling the above qualifications should submit their applications as per enclosed format complete in all respects, along with attested copies of testimonials and a bank draft for Rs.200/- drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in the office of the Deputy Director (Trg.), Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Budh Singh Wala, Moga-142002 on or before 28.12.2021 up to 4:00 p.m. The eligible candidates should appear for interview on 29.12.2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the office of Directorate of Extension Education, PAU, Ludhiana. No separate information for interview will be sent. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No T.A./D.A. will be paid for attending the interview.

The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and initially will be awarded for a period of six months extendable for further period of six months or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
