Sub: Filling up the post of Office Assistant @ Rs. 11486/- per month fixed (on contractual basis) – Advertisement thereof.

Applications are invited for one post of Office Assistant against the vacant post of Office Assistant in Regional Research Station, Kheri (Sangrur) at the fixed salary of Rs. 11486/- per month on contractual basis in the scheme, “Misc-08 (PC-4715)” upto 31.03.2022 or till the termination of the scheme. The qualification prescribed for the above said post is as under:-

Qualification : -

1. Bachelor degree from a recognized university.

2. Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hand on experience in the use of personal computer or information technology in office productivity applications or Desktop publishing applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution which is ISO 9001 certified.
   Or
   Possesses a Computer information technology course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department of Electronics, Accreditation of Computer courses (DOEACC) of Govt. of India.

3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first and second language).

4. Age limit 18 to 37 years.

5. The written test of 80 marks will be conducted on OMR sheet. The written test will comprise of multiple choice type questions of Punjabi, English, Arithmetic of matric standard and General Knowledge each consisting of 20 marks.

6. The candidates, on the basis of merit in the written test (which will be 10 times of the posts to be filled) shall be called for test of computer basics of 20 marks. The candidates must obtain 50% marks in the test of computer basics.

Note: The merit list of candidates to be selected for appointment shall be prepared on the basis of combined marks obtained by them in the written as well as computer test.

Note: 25% and 12% posts are reserved for candidates belonging to scheduled caste/tribes and backward classes belonging to Punjab state respectively; 13% posts reserved for ex-servicemen and 3% posts are reserved for physically handicapped persons.

The desirable candidates fulfilling the qualifications/experience should send their applications on the attached Performa, complete in all respects, along with attested copies of testimonials and a bank draft for Rs. 150/- drawn in favour of the Comptroller, PAU payable at Ludhiana to this office on or before 10.01.2022. Applications received without the prescribed bank draft/ after the due date shall not be considered. The date for appearing before selection committee will be intimate later on.The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of verification of documents. No TA/DA will be given. The services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
