NOTICE

Applications are invited on prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- in shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with attested copies of certificates for this position in project as given below:

1. One post of Research Associate @ Rs. 47,000/- per month fixed + 20% HRA in the Project entitled “High resolution QTL mapping for iron (Fe), zinc (Zn.) grain protein and phytate content and their introgression in high yielding wheat cultivars” CSS-9 (PC-6296)

For the position of Research Associate

Educational qualifications:

1. B. Sc. with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics / Plant Breeding Genetics & Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Biological sciences with at least 6.50/ 10.00 or 65% marks.
3. Ph.D. in the relevant field with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Note-I The Candidates who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D. Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, will be eligible for the post.

Note-II The candidate must have experience of working in field crops, especially wheat and also have good experience of working on molecular biology techniques.
