Applications are invited on prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- in shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with attested copies of certificates for this position in project as given below:

One position of Project Associate- I @ Rs 31,000/- per month fixed + 16% HRA for in the Project entitled “Elucidating the Genetic Architecture of tillering in wheat through CRISPR/CAS based editing of Ideal Plant Architecture gene (IPA1) and Teosinte Branched 1 (TB1)’’ CSS-96 (PC-6361).

Educational qualifications:

1. B.Sc./B.Tech. Agriculture/Biotechnology/Biosciences with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60 % marks.
2. M.Sc./B.Tech. Agriculture/Biotechnology/Biosciences with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65 % marks.

Maximum Age: 35 years

Note-I: The candidates who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: Applicant must have passed the GATE/CSIR-UGC_NET/ARS-NET.

Note-III: The Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.

Note-IV:Desirable: Candidate with experience with wheat crop/field activities/Genome/Transcriptome/Plant tissue culture techniques/bioinformatics/data handling.
