PAU, REGIONAL RESEARCH STATION FARIDKOT
NOTICE
One post of Senior Research Fellow in the scheme at Regional Research Station, Faridkot is to be filled on contract basis. This post is initially for six months or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The last date for applying for this post is 02-06-2022. The candidates should apply on the attached proforma alongwith attested copies of the certificates and a Bank Draft of Rs. 200/- drawn in the favour of the Comptroller, PAU payable at Faridkot. The applications will be received at Punjab Agricultural University, Regional Research Station, Circular Road, Faridkot. The interested candidates should appear before the selection committee for interview on 07-06-2021 at 11.00 AM in the office of Director, Regional Research Station, Faridkot. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any prior notice. The candidates must mention his/her mobile no. in the application form. - B.Sc. with minimum OGPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.

M.Sc. (Agri.) Entomology/ Plant Breeding/ Agronomy with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks with minimum 2 years research experience in cotton.
Note:

The candidates who does not possess Master degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D degree in the discipline required at Masters level, will be eligible for the post.

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in conducting field bioefficency trials with pesticides on cotton.

Job Responsibilities:
-
To conduct laboratory and field research work in the disciplines of Breeding/Agronomy/ Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology of cotton.

Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
