Subject: Filling up the post of Junior DTP Assistant at a fixed salary of Rs. 9,973/- p.m. on contract basis for a period of six months.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the post of Junior DTP Assistant at a fixed salary of Rs. 9,973/- per month on contract basis for a period of six months with the following qualifications:-

1. Graduate from recognised University.

2. Minimum one year experience of practical work in page making softwares, photo-shop, corel draw etc. with DTP composing speed of 50 w.p.m. in English and 40 w.p.m in Punjabi on Computer.

3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language of Punjab School Education Board or any other recognised Board (as first or second language).

4. Age not less than 18 years and not more than 37 years.
   (Age relaxation up to 45 years, who are already working on contract basis/DPL in the University).

5. Reservation will be application as per Punjab Government policy.

Note 1: Experience of working in recognised Press will be considered only.

Note 2: Practical test for the post of Jr. DTP Asstt. (on contract basis) will be as under:-

1. DTP Composing speed of 50 w.p.m. in English 30 marks

2. DTP Composing speed of 40 w.p.m. in Punjabi 30 marks

3. Questions based on page making softwares, Photoshop, Corel Draw etc. 25 marks

4. The minimum qualifying marks for candidates to become eligible shall be 40% of total marks in the practical test irrespective of the category.

Note 3: ½ mark for each completed half year of technical experience in relevant field over and above the minimum required experience, if any will be awarded.

The desirous candidates fulfilling the required qualifications for the above mentioned post may apply in the attached application form along with prescribed Fee of Rs 100/- in the shape of Bank Draft in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana payable at Ludhiana and send the same to THE REGISTRAR, PAU, LUDHIANA (ROOM NO. 65) by 22.06.2022.

Note: Applications received after the due date/received without the application fee / incomplete applications shall not be considered. The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.
