Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM along with attested copies of certificates for one position of Sr. Research Fellow @ Rs. 35000/- P.M fixed + 16% HRA provided in the scheme “Unravelling the diversity of R genes against yellow mosaic disease in Vigna”CSS-69 (PC-6368)”in Wheat Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:-

1. B.Sc.(Agri.)//B.Sc.(Life Science) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60 % marks.

2. M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/Microbiology/Plant Breeding & Genetics with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks and with NET and 2 years of research experience.

Note-1: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject, but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note-2: The candidates having Post Graduate degree in subjects mentioned above, but having Bachelor’s degree with three years must have passed NET. However, the Ph.D candidates are exempted from this condition. The candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.

Note-3:Desirable :Expertise in microbial and molecular techniques.

The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 14-07-2022. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 19-07-2022 at 11.00 AM in the office of the undersigned (Room No. 114, P.G. Building, PAU, Ludhiana). No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
