Applications are invited for the post of Lab Technician (Promotion Quota) in the pay scale of Rs.10300-34800+3800GP ( Pb-3, level-11 as per 6th Punjab pay Commission) from the regular employees working in the Punjab Agricultural University Possessing the following qualifications:
10+2 with 3 years diploma in any trade from recognized institution with 5 years experience on the post of Turner/Fitter/ Fitter-cum-cleaner/ Welder/ Gas-cum-Electrical Welder/ Machine Attendant/ Mechanic/ Machine Mechanic/ Mistri/ Technician Engg./ Machinist/ Jr. Lab Asstt./ Lab Asstt. Engg in PAU with knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric.
OR
Matric with 2 years diploma/ certificate in any trade from recognized institution with 8 years experience on the post of Turner/Fitter/ Fitter-cum-cleaner/ Welder/ Gas-cum-Electrical Welder/ Machine Attendant/ Mechanic/Machine Mechanic/ Mistri/ Technician Engg./Machinist/ Jr. Lab Asstt./ Lab Asstt. Engg in PAU with knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric.
OR
Matric with 10 years experience on the post of Turner/ Fitter/ Fitter-cum-clearner/ Welder/ Gas-cum-Electrical Welder/Machine Attendant/ Mechanic/Machine Mechanic/ Mistri/Technician Engg./Machinist/ Jr. Lab Asstt./ Lab Asstt. Engg in PAU with knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric.
The post is temporary but likely to continue. The benefits of pension/CPF, Leave etc will be admissible according to the University rules.
The application forms can be obtained from this office on any working day between 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM. The applications should reach the office of the undersigned on the prescribed proforma along with attested copies of the certificates by 22.07.2022.
The applications which are incomplete or received after the due date shall not be considered.
