Applications are invited on plain paper in the office of undersigned along with Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana and attested copies of certificates for one position of Project Asstt. @ Rs.20,000/- PM fixed + 16% HRA (Contract basis) in the scheme “Mainstreaming sesame germplasm for productivity enhancement and sustainability through genomics assisted core development and trait discovery” under mission programme of “Minor Oilseeds of Indian Origin” CSS-24 (PC-6328)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:-

1. B.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology) /B.Tech. Biotechnology with minimum OGPA of 2.00/4.00 basis or OCPA 5.00/10.00 basis or 50 % marks.

2. Punjabi upto Matric level.

3. Minimum one year experience in the relevant field.

Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree in Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Genetics & Plant Breeding with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60 % marks.

Age limit: 18 to 45 years

The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 26-07-2022. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 05-08-2022 at 11.00 AM in the office of the undersigned (Room No. 114, P.G. Building, PAU, Ludhiana). No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
