NOTICE

Applications are invited on the prescribed proforma available in office of the undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in the shape of bank draft in favour of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana payable at Ludhiana on any working day along with attested copies of certificates for the post of hiring One Young Professional-II on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs. 35,000/-(consolidated) in the scheme “AINP on VPM Part-A Rodent Control, ICAR-36 (PC-2291)”out of Contingency grant for a period of six months or till the end of current financial year i.e. upto 31.03.2023, whichever is earlier.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. B.Sc./B.Sc. Animal Biotechnology / B.V.Sc. with a minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks
2. M.Sc. Zoology/M.Sc.(Hons.) in Zoology/ M.Sc. Animal Biotechnology / M.V.Sc. Animal Biotechnology/ M.V.Sc. Veterinary Biotechnology with a minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks .

Note 1: A candidate, who does not possess Master’s Degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D. degree in the subject required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note 2: Desirable Qualification (Experience in molecular biology /Rodents / higher vertebrate pest management). Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in molecular biological techniques in animals and higher vertebrate pest (Nilgai).

The last date for receipt of application in this office duly completed in all respects is 22.09.2022. Incomplete applications, unsupported by the documents or applications received after the due date shall not be considered. The candidates should appear for interview on ­­­­03.10.2022 at 11:00 a.m.in the office of undersigned along with all original documents . No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The amount of first full month salary payable to the Young Professional-II will be kept as security with Head, Department of Zoology and it will be paid to him/her as and when he/she will be relieved from the duty after giving the requisite one month’s notice or deposits the amount of one month’s salary. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
