NOTICE

Applications are invited on prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- in shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with attested copies of certificates for the position in project as given below:

1. One post of Jr. Research Fellow @ Rs. 31,000/- per month fixed + 16% HRA for 1^st & 2^nd year and as SRF @ Rs. 35,000/- per month fixed + 16% HRA for 3^rd year in the Project entitled Scheme: “Strategies to overcome pre-fertilization barriers in chrysanthemum(Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat.) for improvement of self and cross compatibility traits”, CSS-84 (PC-6383).

For the position of Jr. Research Fellow

Educational qualifications:

1. B. Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.

2. Master’s Degree in Floriculture & Landscaping/Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/Botany/Life Sciences with minimum OCPA of 6.50/ 10.00 or 65% marks with NET qualified.

Note-I The Candidates who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, will be eligible for the post.

Note-II Desired qualifications if necessary, may be added as per the requirement.

The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 07.10.2022. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidate should appear for interview on 19.10.2022 at 11.30 A.M. in the office of undersigned. The application form is available at PAU website www.pau.edu or may be obtained from the office undersigned. No separate information for interview will be sent and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The amount of first full month of salary payable to the Junnior Research Fellow will be kept as security with the University and it will be paid to him/her as and when he/she leaves the job after giving the requisite one month’s notice or deposit the amount of one month salary.
