NOTICE

Applications on the prescribed form are invited containing name, address, age, educational qualifications, publications, awards and experience etc along with attested copies of certificates for the engagement of one Junior Research Fellow @ Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA per month fixed on contractual basis for a period of six months provided in the scheme “High resolution mapping and development of root-knot nematode resistant rootstocks in peach” CSS-80 (PC-6339)”.

Educational qualifications:

1. B.Sc Agriculture/B.Sc. Horticulture/ B.Sc. with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc. Fruit Science/ Plant Breeding and Genetics/ Biotechnology with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.
3. Qualified ICAR/ CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test.

Note I: A candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses a Ph.D degree in the discipline required at the Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.

Note II: Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in the use of molecular markers.

The last date for the receipt of applications in the office duly completed in all respect is 28.09.2022. The incomplete applications or unsupported by requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidate should appear for the interview on 07.10.2022 at 3.30 pm in the office of the Head, Department of Fruit science, PAU, Ludhiana. No separate intimation will be sent & no TA/DA will be paid for attending the same.

Note: The application form for the above said post may be obtained from the office of the Head, Department of Fruit Science, PAU, Ludhiana by submitting a bank draft for Rs. 200/- issued in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana.
