NOTICE

Application on the prescribed proforma is invited for the one post of Junior Research Fellow @Rs.31000/- per month fixed + 16% HRA in the scheme entitled, “Integrated Smart Crop Monitoring & Irrigation Scheduling as Decision Support System for Small Farms”, Misc. 172 (PC-5197) (financed by Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala) with the following qualifications:-

1. B. Tech. (Agril. Engineering) with OGPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. M. Tech. (Soil & Water Engg.) with OGPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks and qualified ICAR/CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET).

Note I: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess a Ph.D degree in the discipline required at the Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.

Note II: The Ph.D candidates are exempted from National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification. The candidate should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.

Note III: Work experience in relevant field and exposure to data analysis.

The amount of first full month of salary payable to the Junior Research Fellow will be kept as security with the University and it will be paid to him/her as and when he/she leave the job after giving the requisite one month’s notice or deposit the amount of one month salary.

The engagement will purely be on temporary basis for a period up to six months from the date of appointment. Eligible candidates may apply on the prescribed proforma giving full particulars supported by attested copies of Certificates/Degree/Testimonials by 17.10.2022 and appear for interview on 18.10.2022 at 10.00 AM in the office of the undersigned. No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

Note: The application form for the above said post may be obtained from the office of the undersigned by submitted a Bank draft of Rs. 200/- issued in the favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana.
