NOTICE

Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of the undersigned on payment of Rs 200/- in shape of Bank draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm along with attested copies of certificates for one post of Research/Teaching Assistant on contractual basis @ Rs.25,000/- p.m. (fixed) for Masters Degree holders and Rs. 30,000/-(fixed) p.m. for Ph.D degree holders provided in the scheme, “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU Misc-8 PC 4715 for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme or till the time the regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier . The following qualifications are prescribed for the above post:

1. B.Sc. Agriculture/ B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.)/ B.Sc Bio-technology (Hons.) 4 years/ B.Tech Bio-Technology 4 years with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks
2. Master’s degree in Plant Pathology/Nematology with atleast OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65 % at Masters level
3. Must have Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized board/agency(as first or second language).

Note 1: A candidate who may not possess Master’s degree in the relevant discipline but possesses Ph.D degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

The applications should reach in the office of Head, Deptt. of Plant Pathology, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. by 17.10.2022. The incomplete applications will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for the interview on 18.10.2022 at 11.00 am in the office of the Head, Department of Plant Pathology, PAU, Ludhiana. The candidate should bring original certificates at the time of interview. No separate intimation for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
