Applications are invited for one position of Young Professional-I (YP-I) on contractual basis at a fixed salary of Rs. 25,000/- per month consolidated provided in the scheme entitled “IRM: Dissemination of Pink Bollworm Management Strategies" under centrally sponsored scheme on "NFSM: commercial crops at KVK, Muktsar." ICAR- 98 (PC-2638)”.

Essential qualifications:

1. B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.)/B.Tech.(Agri. Engg.)
2. Punjabi upto Matric level
3. Age not less than 18 years and not more than 37 years
4. Master’s degree in related disciplines of Agriculture/Agri. Engg. preferable

The desirous candidates fulfilling the qualifications should send their applications as per attached format along with self attested copies of the testimonials and demand draft of Rs. 150/- in favour of Comptroller, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to this office (Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Goneana, Sri Muktsar Sahib) on or before 18.11.2022 upto 3.00 PM. The candidates should appear before the selection committee on 23/11/2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the office of Director of Extension Education, PAU Ludhiana. No separate information in this regard will be sent. While appearing before the selection committee, the candidates should produce their original documents. No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for the purpose.

The position is purely temporary and initially for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months. The services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
