NOTICE

Applications are invited for filling up of one post of Junior Research Fellow @ Rs. 31000/- per month (Fixed)+16% HRA if in case NET is not cleared, then the candidate will be engaged at the emoluments of Rs. 25000/- per month fixed + 16% HRA provided in the scheme “Digital Village: A data–Driven Approach to Precision Agriculture in Small Farms Project, Project ID TTFS_2021_0001, for the year 2022-23 No. Misc.122 (PC-5167)” on plain paper alongwith the details of qualifications, experience, other relevant information and demand draft for Rs. 200/- in favour of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana. The complete applications should reach in the o/o the Head, Deptt. of Farm Machinery & Power Engineering, College of Agril. Engineering & Technology, PAU, Ludhiana by 07.12.2022 (Those who applied earlier need not apply again). The interview of the candidates will be held on 15.12.2022 at 11:00 AM in the o/o the undersigned. No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. B.Sc in Agriculture with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc in (Entomology/Plant Pathology) with NET qualified with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Note: 1- The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note:2- Desirable Qualifications

1. Candidates having field experiences of application of drones/ advanced scientific instruments will be given preference.
2. If the candidate without NET is engaged, he or she will be engaged at the emoluments Rs.25000/- +16% HRA.

The amount of first full month of fellowship payable to Junior Research Fellow will be kept as security with the Head, Department of Farm Machinery Power Engineering and it will be paid to him/her as and when he/she leaves the fellowship after giving the requisite one months notice or deposits the amount of one month's fellowship. The Junior Research Fellow resigning the fellowship shall have to give one month notice or have to deposit one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in PAU.
