NOTICE

Applications are invited on the prescribed proforma available in office of the undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in the shape of bank draft in favour of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana payable at Ludhiana on any working day along with attested copies of certificates for the one post of Project Associate-I @ Rs. 31,000/+16% HRA per month fixed in the scheme “Evaluation of yeast-encapsulated essential oil based biolarvicide formulation(s) for management of Aedes aegypti mosquito” CSS-94 (PC-6389)” for a period of six months or termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. B.Sc in any discipline of Life Sciences with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.

2. M.Sc Zoology/ M.Sc Entomology (with NET) with minimum OCPA of 6.50/ 10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Note-I : The candidate who does not possess Master’s Degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: In case the candidate M.Sc with NET is not available, the Project Associate-I will be appointed @ Rs.25,000 + 16% HRA.

Note-III: Desirable qualifications if necessary, may be added as per requirement.

The last date for receipt of application in this office duly completed in all respects is 13.12.2022. Incomplete applications, unsupported by the documents or applications received after the due date will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on ­­­­22.12.2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the office of undersigned along with all original documents. No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The amount of first full month salary payable to the Project Associate-I will be kept as security with Head, Department of Zoology and it will be paid to him/her as and when he/she leaves the salary after giving the requisite one month’s notice or deposits the amount of one month’s salary. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
