NOTICE

Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. along with attested copies of certificates for one position of Research Fellow @ Rs. 31000/- per month fixed + HRA provided in the scheme entitled, “All India Network Programme on Organic Farming, ICAR-49 (PC-2037)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:

1. B.Sc. with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc. in Agronomy with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Note I : The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

The fellowship is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

The last date for the receipt of applications duly complete in all respects along with the attested copies of certificates in this office is 10.01.2023. The incomplete applications unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear before the selection committee for interview on 16.01.2023 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The Research Fellow resigning the fellowship shall have to give one month notice or one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
