NOTICE

Applications are invited on the prescribed proforma available in office of the undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in the shape of bank draft in favour of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana payable at Ludhiana on any working day along with attested copies of certificates for the post of Young Professional-II @ Rs.35000/- (fixed) provided in the scheme “National Initiative on Climate Resilient in Agriculture (AICRPAM- NICRA) ICAR-90 (PC-2154)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. B.Sc. with a minimum OGPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc. inAgricultural Meteorology OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Note-I : The Candidate who does not possess Master’s Degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

NOTE-II Preference will be given to the candidate who possesses the degree in the discipline of Agricultural Meteorology.

The last date for receipt of application in this office duly completed in all respects is 11.01.2023. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 17.01.2023 at 11.30 A.M.in the office of undersigned in room No. 63-B in the College of Agriculture, PAU,Ludhiana. No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The amount of first full month fellowship payable to the Young Professional-II will be kept as security with Head, Deptt of Climate Change & Agricultural Meteorology and it will be paid to him/her as and when he/she leaves the fellowship after giving the requisite one month’s notice or deposits the amount of one month’s fellowship. The Young Professional-II when resigning the fellowship shall have to give one months’ notice or have to deposit one month salary in lieu of one month notice.
