Sub: Filling up of five posts of teaching Assistants (Biotechnology, FMPE, Microbiology, Economics and Floriculture) on contractual basis @ Rs. 35000/- fixed p.m. at Regional Research Station, Ballowal Saunkhri.

Five posts of Teaching Assistants (Biotechnology, FMPE, Microbiology, Economics and Floriculture) are to be filled up in the scheme "Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc.08 (PC-4715)” @ Rs. 35,000/- fixed p.m. for M.Sc. and Rs. 40,000/- p.m. fixed for Ph.D. as per following:

The desirous candidates fulfilling the qualifications should send their applications on plain paper complete in all respect alongwith attested copies of the testimonials and a bank draft of Rs. 200/- in favor of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana payable at Ludhiana to the undersigned (Director, Regional Research Station, Ballowal Saunkhri, P.O. Takarla, Tehsil Balachaur-144 521, Distt. S.B.S. Nagar). The last date of receipt of applications is 03.02.2023. The applications received without fees/received after due date shall not be considered. The screening of documents for these posts will be in the o/o Dean, College of Agriculture, PAU, Ludhiana at the dates mentioned above. The original copies of the testimonials should be brought at the time of screening of documents. No TA/DA will be given for attending the Screening.

Annexure-I

Qualifications for the post of Teaching Asstt. (FMPE)

1. Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
2. Master’s degree in Farm Machinery & Power Engineering/Farm power Machinery.
3. At least 60% marks at Bachelor’s level and 65% marks or OCPA or 6.50 out of 10.0 at Master’s level.
4. Matric level certificate of Punjabi Language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or Second language).

Qualifications of the post of Teaching Asstt. (Microbiology)

1. B.Sc. with 2^nd Division.
2. M.Sc. in Microbiology with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks in aggregate.
3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi Language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or Second language).

Qualifications for the post of Teaching Asstt. (Economics)

1. B.Sc. (Agriculture)/ B.Sc. Economics/ B.Sc. (Horticulture)/ B.Sc. (Agri. MaCo)/ B.Com /B.A Hons. With Economics/ B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics / B.A. with Economics.
2. Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics/Economics.
3. At least 60% marks at Bachelor’s level at Master’s Level.
4. Matric level certificate of Punjabi Language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or second language).

Qualifications for the post of Teaching Asstt. (Floriculture)

1. B.Sc.(Agri)/B.Sc. Agri. (Hort.).
2. Master’s Degree in Floriculture & Landscaping.
3. At least 60% marks at Bachelor’s level and 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.0 at Master’s Level.
4. Matric level certificate of Punjabi Language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or Second language).

Qualifications for the post of Teaching Asstt. (Biotechnology)

1. B.Sc. (Biotech)/ B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Agri.) with at least second division.
2. Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Genetics/Plant Breeding & Genetics with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.
3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi Language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or Second language).

Note: A candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level shall be eligible for the post..
