Subject: Filling up of one post of Car/Jeep Operator on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs.11,585/- per month provided in the scheme, “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc.8 (PC-4715)”.

Applications on the plain paper with complete bio-data are invited for filling up of one post of Car/Jeep Operator on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs.11,585/- per month in the scheme, “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc.8 (PC-4715)”. The qualifications/Experience prescribed for the post are as under:-
- 10+2 passed from the recognized Board.
- Possessing of a valid and appropriate Car/Jeep Driving License from the prescribed Govt. authority.
- Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric standard.
- Age limit: 18-37 years.
- Two years experience in Car/Jeep Driving.

The desirous candidates fulfilling the above qualifications/experience should send their applications on plain paper, complete in all respects alongwith attested passport size photograph, attested copies of the certificates/ testimonials and a Demand Draft of Rs. 150/- in favour of COMPTROLLER, PAU, payable at LUDHIANA, to this office on or before 06.03.2023. The date for the conduct of skill test (driving proficiency test) will be intimated later on. Candidates should bring their original certificates at the time of skill test. No TA/DA will be given for attending the skill test. The candidates must mention their complete address and mobile number in the application.
The appointment is purely temporary on contractual basis, initially upto March 2023 in the first instance. The person so appointed will have to deposit one month’s salary or submit one month’s notice or salary for the period falling short of one month, if he/she opts to quit the university service and vice versa.
The applications received after the due date or received without the application fee shall not be considered. The department shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. The position is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
