Subject: Filling up of one post of Electrical Assistant [specially for maintenance of CCTV Cameras], on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs.11,585/- per month provided in the scheme, “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc.8 (PC-4715)”.

Applications on the plain paper with complete bio-data are invited for filling up of one post of Electrical Assistant [specially for maintenance of CCTV Cameras] on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs.11,585/- per month in the scheme, “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc.8 (PC-4715)”. The qualifications/Experience prescribed for the post are as under:-
- Matric with 3 years Diploma from recognized Institution in Electrical Engineering with 3 years experience.
OR
Matric with 2 years ITI/Certificate/Diploma from recognized institution in the trade of Electrician/Wireman with 4 years relevant experience.
OR
Matric with 6 years relevant experience under the supervision of Junior Engineer (Electrical).
- Must have passed Punjabi upto Matric level.
- Age 18 to 58 years.
Essential: Minimum 3 years experience in the field of Maintenance of High-Tension line (Minimum 11 KV) and Electrical Maintenance of Buildings.
Desirable: Experience of Networking/Installation/Operation/Maintenance of CCTV cameras.
Note: 1. Middle pass candidates with 12 years experience can also be considered for appointment to the post, if the person(s) with prescribed qualifications does not apply.
- Desirable experience will be considered, if the post is to be filled up for operation and maintenance of CCTV cameras.

Note: Reservation will be applicable as per Punjab Government policy.
The desirous candidates fulfilling the above qualifications/experience should send their applications on plain paper, complete in all respects alongwith attested passport size photograph, attested copies of the certificates/ testimonials and a Demand Draft of Rs. 150/- in favour of COMPTROLLER, PAU, payable at LUDHIANA, to this office on or before 17.04.2023. The date for the conduct of practical test will be intimated later on.Candidates should bring their original certificates at the time of practical test. No TA/DA will be given for attending the practical test. The candidates must mention their complete address and mobile number in the application.
The appointment is purely temporary on contractual basis. The person so appointed will have to deposit one month’s salary or submit one month’s notice or salary for the period falling short of one month, if he/she opts to quit the university service and vice versa.
The applications received after the due date or received without the application fee shall not be considered. The department shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit. The position is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
