Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM along with attested copies of certificates for one position of Research Assistant on contractual basis @ Rs. 35000/- p.m fixed for M.Sc. and Rs.40000/-P. M. fixed for Ph.D. in the scheme “Facilitating effective functioning at PAU, Misc. 8 (PC-4715)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:-

1. B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc. Biotechnology (Plant Sciences)/ B. Tech. Biotechnology.
2. M.Sc. in Plant Breeding and Genetics/ M.Sc. Biotechnology.
3. At least first division at Bachelor’s level and 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 at Master’s level.
4. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or second language).

Note: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.

The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 28-04-2023. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 08-05-2023 at 11.00 AM in the office of the undersigned (Room No. 114, P.G. Building, PAU, Ludhiana). No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
