Applications are invited from the eligible candidates on prescribed format for hiring the services of Scientific Administration Assistant / Field Worker in the research project “DST-AWadh Network: “Water Footprint Analysis of Dairy Sector in Punjab” @ Rs.18000/-+HRA per month (as per IIT norms)(To be borne and released by IIT, Roper. The post is purely temporary for six months from the date of joining or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The term of fellowship may be extended for further period provided that the performance of the candidate is found satisfactory. The required qualifications are here under: -
Essential Qualification: -
- B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Sc Dairying, Dairy Science, Agri./Agri (Hons.), B.Sc/B.F.Sc. or B.A. in Economics, B.V.Sc. & A.H./ B.V.Sc./ B.Sc. Animal Science/ BBA/B.Com with minimum OCPA/OGPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification
- M.Sc/M.V.Sc. in Agricultural Economics, Dairy Economics, Livestock Economics, Veterinary Economics, Animal Husbandry Economics or M.A. in Economics/ MBA (Marketing) with minimum OCPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level.
The condition of knowledge in Punjabi is however relaxable, if the candidate is found otherwise deserving.
Age: - Age limit 18 to 37 years (as on the date of receipt of applications), which is relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC/Women candidates.
The candidates are requested to submit/send their bio-data on the prescribed format along with one set of photocopies of all related documents, mark sheets and publications with a recent passport size photograph on or before 30.06.2023. The interview will be conducted on 07.07.2023 at 10.00 am in the o/o Dean, CODST.
Note: No TA/DA is permissible for appearing for the interview.
