NOTICE

Applications are invited on prescribed form (available in the office of undersigned) for one position of Research Fellow provided in the scheme
"Evaluation of GEAC recommended Bt cotton hybrids in North India (Six Location) during Kharif 2023-24 at Bathinda,”-Misc 119 (PC-5068) at RRS, Abohar. The Research Fellow will be appointed on contractual basis in the scale of Rs 25000/- + HRA the appointment will be for an initial portal of six month or tile completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The requisite educational qualifications for these positions are as follows:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

i) B.sc (Agri.)/ B.Sc. with minimum OCPA 6.0/10.00 OR 60% marks.

II) M.Sc in any branch of Agricultural science/Life Science minimum OCPA 6.5/10.0 or 65% marks.

Note I: The candidate, who does not possess Master's degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master's level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note II: Preference will be given to candidates having Statistical knowledge.

The application form in respect of this position may be obtained from RRS, Abohar after depositing a bank draft for RS. 200/- issued in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana payable at Abohar on any working day. The last date for the receipt of duly completed applications is 17.07.2023. The incomplete applications or unsupported by requisite documents will not be entertained. The interview will be held on 18.07.2023 at 11.00 am in the office of Director, PAU Regional Research Station, Abohar. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The candidate should bring original certificates at the time of interview.
