NOTICE

Applications are invited on the prescribed proforma along with a Demand Draft of Rs.150/- in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana as fee charges for the engagement of posts of Data Collection Assistants to be placed at sample villages in Patiala, Sangrur, Sri Muktsar Sahib and Tarn Taran Sahib @ Rs.13,500/- per month (fixed) on contractual basis in the scheme, “Comprehensive Scheme for Studying the Cost of Cultivation of the Principal Crops in Punjab CSS-29 (PC-6004)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the schemes whichever is earlier. The qualifications for the post are as under:

1. Two years Diploma Course in Agriculture.

OR

B. Sc (Agriculture).

OR

B.A. with Economics.

2. Punjabi up-to Matric level.
3. Candidate with experience in Data Collection from farmers on economic variables will be preferred.
4. Age limit 18 years to 37 years.

Reservation will be provided as per rules. The desired candidates who fulfill the above qualifications should apply on the proforma uploaded at the PAU website www.pau.edu along with attested copies of certificates by 28.08.2023. The applicants should appear before the Selection Committee with their original testimonials in the office of undersigned (Department of Economics & Sociology, PAU, Ludhiana) on 20.09.2023 at 11.30 A.M.
The services of incumbents are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice. No T.A./D.A. will be paid for the above said visit.
