Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 P.M along with attested copies of certificates for the one post of Jr. Research Fellow/Project Associate I @ Rs.31000/- P. M. + 16% HRA for 1^st two years and from 3^rd year onwards SRF/Project Associate II @ Rs.35000/- P. M. + 16% HRA provided in the scheme “Characterization of Chickpea Germplasm resource to Accelerate Genomics-assisted Crop improvement” CSS-22 (PC-6335)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualifications:

1. B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology)/ B. Tech (Biotechnology) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Biotechnology(CropPlants)/ Plant Pathology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks and with NET may be recruited as JRF @ Rs.31000/- P. M. + 16% HRA

OR

M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/Biotechnology(CropPlants)/Plant Pathology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks and without NET may be recruited as Project Associate I @ Rs.25000/- P. M. + 16% HRA

Note-1: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.

Note -2: Desirable qualification: Experience/ Research work in Pulse crop.

The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 11-09-2023. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 20-09-2023 at 11.00 A.M. in the office of the undersigned (Room No.114 P.G Building, PAU, Ludhiana). No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
