NOTICE

Applications from the eligible candidates are invited for the one position of Young Professional-II @ Rs.35,000/- p.m. (fixed) on contractual basis provided in the scheme entitled “All India Coordinated Research Project on Women in Agriculture” ICAR-37 (E) (PC-2049.5) for the period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier and subject to the availability of funds.

Essential Qualifications:

1. B.Sc. Home Science/ Community Science with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.

2. M.Sc. (Apparel and Textile Science/ Clothing & Textile / Extension Education & Communication Management/ Home Science Extension & Communication Management/ Home Science Extension Education/ Food & Nutrition/ Human Development/ Human Development & Family Studies) with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

Note-I: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D. Degree in the discipline required at Master’s shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: Desirable Qualifications: The preference will be given to NET qualified candidates. Matric level certificate of Punjabi languages from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or second language) & Working knowledge of Microsoft office.

Age Limit:- From 21 to 45 years.

The applications complete in all respects on prescribed form (form attached) to the undersigned with a bank draft of Rs.200/- (in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana) giving full particulars of your qualification, experience, contact number, address etc. along with self attested copies of all certificates should be submitted to this office on or before 4^th March, 2024. Incomplete applications not supported with the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for the interview in the office of the undersigned on 11^th March, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. No separate information for interview will be sent and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The position is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without prior notice.
