Positions held: Entomologist at PAU Regional Research Station, Abohar (November 2014 to March 2018); Entomologist at PAU Regional Research Station, Bathinda (April 2018 to November 2020); Entomologist at PAU Regional Research Station, Ballowal Saunkhri (November 2020-till date)

Field of Specialization: Economic Entomology

Research Interests:

  1. Integrated pest management in field and fruit crops.
  2. Diversity and Population dynamics of insect pests of different crops.

Research Projects:

  1. Evaluation and promotion of modern spray technology in citrus orchards in south western districts of Punjab (Co-PI)
  2. Innovative strategies for climate resilient Citriculture, Kinnow mandarin (Co-PI)
  3. Evaluation of GEAC approved Bt cotton hybrids sponsored by Private seed companies. (Investigator)
  4. All India Coordinated Research Project on Cotton (ICAR)

  2. Received Dr. GS Khush Team Award for Excellence in Transfer of Technology for the effective management of whitefly in cotton in 2016 in Award ceremony of GS Khush Foundation at PAU, Ludhiana on January 31, 2017.
